I am a registered Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist and HHP with offices at Dolphin House in Leucadia, and at North Shore Acupuncture Clinic in Encinitas, CA-- specializing in helping clients of all ages and levels of well being to empower themselves and improve their health.
A concentration of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and Holistic Health consultation Is the core of my practice--to help resolve injury, trauma, chronic pain, and to reach optimum health, but teaching clients to care for themselves is also a key feature of my work. I work with a wide variety of clients including teens, older people, RNs, construction workers, busy moms (and doulas and midwives!), young children, business professionals, and in my personal life, my own family (when they let me).
Craniosacral therapy makes a huge difference as support during pregnancy, birth and after, to keep in balance and to retain the best possible health. My job is to help my clients reach that balance, to facilitate self-regulation, stress resolution and self-care methods to make changes on their own. Along with my pregnant and post-partum mothers, I have been so happy and lucky to participate in my grandson's birth at the UCSD Birth Center, with our doula and friend Jane Johns, our acupuncturist and the midwives there. It was the experience of a lifetime.
This work acts as a resource to build health in the brain and nervous system, it integrates the physical and emotional body, and helps the entire system to reach a level of ease during and after challenging life events. I have personal as well as professional experiences and reasons for being completely committed to my work and to my clients.
